Biography
Ghislain Raze earned his master's degrees in aerospace engineering and astrophysics through the T.I.M.E. exchange program at the University of Liège (Belgium) and ISAE Supaero (France) in 2017. He pursued his Ph.D. at the University of Liège under the supervision of Prof. Kerschen, working on vibration mitigation of mechanical structures using piezoelectric digital vibration absorbers. In 2021, he received a postdoctoral fellowship from the FNRS to conduct research in nonlinear modal analysis. He was a visiting research fellow at ETHZ (Switzerland) in Prof. Haller's group in 2022. In 2024, he received an FNRS scientific collaborator grant to pursue his research on experimental continuation and visited Prof. van de Wouw's group at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands in 2025. He is now an FNRS research associate and focuses on dynamics and control.
